Boston

Boston is a gorgeous little seaport town. We were only there unfortunately for one full day so we only scratched the surface but it was still lovely. We wandered round the center and wharf following the freedom trail and played in the fountains, ate lunch on the harbour and had good ice-creams. Then we went to the public gardens and basked in the warm sunshine, before taking a swan boat round the pond. Cute. ;) Boston is a beautiful little town!

For dinner we went to Sally Best's  house, Christine Walker's mum. It was so great to finally meet Ma Best along with Christine's lovely sister Helen, and her aunt and uncle. We now know where Christine gets her welcoming-ness from. They welcomed us into their hme like we were family. It was so lovely to put names to faces and see where darling Christine grew up! After a delicious american meal of hamburgers, hot dogs and ice-cream, it was time to say goodbye. Thank-you ever so much Best family for your wonderful hospitality! :) xx
