Venice is a really lovely place. We actually stayed out in the country, in an apartment called the Magic Venice 2, which was 20 minutes by train to Venice. We didn't arrive till late afternoon so we headed in the town just before dark.
Venice was stunning at night! After not being able to figure out how to travel down the canal, we just walked over some of the many bridges and just marvelled at the beauty of this little city! It was so cool that their streets are canals and they travel to school etc. on boats. We went back the next day after checking out of our apartment, and saw it in the light! We figured out the ferries and travelled down to St Marks Square. It was really crowded but great. We played with the pigeons but couldn't get into the bascilia due to not wearing the right clothing! A quick but memorable visit!

What a fantastic time you are having. Jealous of you being in Rome - I absolutely love it there. At school right now - getting ready for the day by checking my emails and your blog!!! Looking forward to the next instalment. Saw dad yesterday boiling up food for the chickens as apparently they only like their veges a certain way!!! Luv to you all.
